Crop Diversification Scheme: Farmers can double their income by adopting crop diversification scheme. Under this, the Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Department is running a scheme to encourage farmers to take up farming. In which government assistance will be given to the farmers for three years. Its biggest advantage is that agriculture will be sustainable and the environment will benefit from it.
Central and state government farmers income (Farmers Income) is working to increase it, as well as many types of schemes are also going on. Farmers are also getting the benefits of these schemes. Crop Diversification (Crop Diversification) is also a better way to increase the income of farmers. In view of this, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to start Crop Diversification Promotion Scheme. To increase the income of the farmers under the crop diversification scheme, the farmers of the state (Farmers) will be encouraged to take up cultivation of crops other than wheat and paddy. Assistance will also be provided to them under being encouraged.
It is worth mentioning that in Madhya Pradesh, where organic farming (Organic Farming) is increasing gradually, while on the other hand chemical fertilizers are also being used indiscriminately. The financial burden on the government is increasing due to the increase in the purchase of chemical fertilizers. Whereas due to the increasing area of paddy and wheat only, many other types of problems are coming to the fore. There are many such reasons due to which the Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Department has decided to start the Crop Diversification Scheme. Crop diversification scheme will also include cultivation of those crops which do not come under the purview of MSP.
Organizations will help with the department
According to the order issued by the Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Department, apart from wheat and paddy, other crops will be included in this. Not only this, vegetables like potatoes, onions, tomatoes and other vegetables have also been included in this. In fact, through this scheme, farmers will be motivated to move from traditional farming to cultivating different types of crops. Not only departments, many institutions and companies will also cooperate in this scheme. These institutions will provide technical advice to the farmers as well as take responsibility for the sale of the produced crop.
Fertilizer capacity of the soil increases
If a farmer gets an agricultural grant under this scheme, then he will have to get recognition from the Agriculture Department. Under this scheme, a 6-member State Project Testing Committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary. Under the scheme, assistance will also be given to the farmer for three years. Crop diversification is a method by which the fertilizer capacity of the soil is increased. In this, not only a few crops are cultivated, but different crops are cultivated. This also increases the productivity of the soil. Not only this, the cost of agriculture is reduced by adopting it. Its biggest advantage is that it greatly improves the health of the soil.
