Farmers Protest Postponed: Farmers will celebrate Vijay Diwas on 11th December instead of 10th, know why the plan had to be changed

After the agreement on the announcement and proposal of the Central Government, the farmers’ movement was suspended for the 378th day today. The movement was going on for more than a year. Now farmers will celebrate Vijay Diwas on 11th December. Let us tell you, earlier there was a plan to celebrate Vijay Diwas on Friday i.e. 10th December, but due to the death of CDS General Bipin Rawat and other army officers in helicopter cash, the plan was changed. Now the last rites of the martyrs will be held on Friday. He will be given a final farewell. On the next day i.e. Saturday, farmers will celebrate Vijay Diwas.

According to the farmers, they are calling this the postponement of the movement because the Kisan United Front will review the proposals which have not yet been fully accepted. If the demands of the farmers remain hanging for a long time, then the movement will start again.

Tents and huts started to move from Singhu border

It is being told that the farmers who have been protesting on the border for a whole year have started packing their goods, tents and huts. After packing their goods on 10th December, all the farmers will start leaving the border of Delhi together on 11th December. In fact, the farmers had expressed their consent on the draft proposal sent again by the Center, on the same proposal, the government has given it in writing to the farmers. Now it is expected that the farmers will take the final decision on the movement. Meanwhile, farmers have started removing tents on the Singhu border and farmers are also distributing sweets among themselves.

There will be a meeting on January 15 for further strategy

This movement has increased the strength and courage of the farmers. Farmer leader Balveer Rajewal said that we are suspending the movement by bowing down to the government. But on January 15, SKM will meet for further strategy. After the return of the farmers’ movement, the farmers will return home. He said that the farmers’ movement has been postponed for the time being and there will be a meeting of SKM every month. If the government is left or right, then a decision to agitate can be taken again.

  • Farmers will visit Golden Temple in Amritsar on 13th December.1
  • The next meeting of the United Kisan Morcha will be held in Delhi on 5 December.
