External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will make an official visit to Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Armenia from October 10 to 13. During this three-nation visit, the External Affairs Minister will share views on bilateral relations. s. Jaishankar will be in the Kyrgyz Republic on October 10-11. This will be his first visit to Kyrgyzstan as foreign minister. Apart from meeting the President of Kyrgyzstan there, he will hold bilateral meetings with the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan. At the same time, some agreements are also likely to be signed during the visit. The Ministry of External Affairs gave this information in its statement.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will be in the Kyrgyz Republic on October 10-11. After which he will leave for Kazakhstan on Monday. After this, he will visit Armenia on 12-13 October. The Ministry of External Affairs said that the visit will provide an opportunity to review progress in India’s bilateral relations with the three countries as well as share views on the development of the region.
Will be in Kazakhstan from October 11-12
After this, from October 11-12, he will be in Kazakhstan to attend the 6th Ministerial Meeting of the Conference on Confidence Building Measures in Asia in Nur-Sultan. Kazakhstan is the current president and initiator of the CICA Forum. There the External Affairs Minister is also expected to hold bilateral talks with the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan and meet the Kazakh leadership.
Will visit Armenia on 12-13 October
At the same time, he will visit Armenia on 12-13 October. This will be the first visit by an Indian foreign minister to independent Armenia. He will hold meetings with his Armenian counterpart as well as meet the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia. The visit will provide an opportunity to review progress in our bilateral relations with the three countries as well as share views on the development of the region.
