Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday interacted with the district magistrates of various districts and reviewed the progress of implementation of central government schemes in their districts. The PM said that when the aspirations of others become their aspirations, when fulfilling the dreams of others becomes the measure of their success, then that duty path creates history. Today we are seeing this history being made in the aspirational districts of the country.
He said, “Today, aspirational districts are breaking the barrier of progress of the country. With the efforts of all of you, the aspirational districts are becoming a sprinter instead of a stalemate. In life, people work day and night for their aspirations and fulfill them in some measure. One of the major reasons for the success that the country is getting in the aspirational district is convergence. All the resources are the same, the government machinery is the same, the officials are the same but the result is different, but when the aspirations of others become their own, when fulfilling the dreams of others becomes the measure of their success, then that path of duty creates history.
The PM said, ‘On one hand, the budget kept increasing, plans kept on being made, economic development also continued in the figures, but even after 75 years of independence, many districts in the country remained behind. Over time these districts were tagged with backward districts. The districts which were once considered to be making rapid progress, today these aspirational districts are also showing good work in many parameters. Chief Ministers also believe that the aspirational districts in their states have done amazing work.
