Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that both the central and state government will cooperate in promoting natural farming. The state government has made a program to encourage natural farming in the entire region of Bundelkhand.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi Adityanath) said that natural farming is a good medium for low cost toxin free farming with better production. Natural farming in the state (Natural FarmingAlong with this, there is also a need to promote organic farming. He said that in the coming times, farmers will not have to struggle to sell their organic products. Our government is going to set up labs in 18 mandals of the state, where organic products of farmers will be certified and quality seeds will be available. Farmers’ income not only from organic and natural farming (Farmers Income) but people will also get chemical free food. He said that by adopting this method, farmers will be able to get good production at low cost.
On the occasion of 33rd Foundation Day of Uttar Pradesh Council of Agricultural Research, Yogi Adityanath said that the biggest challenge before us today is how can we do poison-free farming at low cost? We are grateful to the Prime Minister, who made a provision for this in the Union Budget. This option is cow based natural farming. The Prime Minister had asked Uttar Pradesh in 2020 whether we can promote it in the banks of the Ganges? He had asked whether we can take forward the cultivation of horticultural crops, vegetables in this form. At that time we had taken out Ganga Yatra. Ganga Yatra succeeded in establishing Ganga Nursery, Ganga Garden, Ganga Udyan etc. at many places.
Plan to increase natural farming in entire Bundelkhand
He said that there is a provision in the Union Budget that we have to pursue natural farming in five-five kilometer area on both the banks of Ganga. The Chief Minister said that both the Central and State Governments will cooperate in this. The state government has also made a program to encourage natural farming in the entire region of Bundelkhand.
Describing natural farming as a good means of low cost and toxin-free farming, CM Yogi said that for its encouragement, I will call upon all agricultural scientists that if you people join this campaign, not only will the income of the farmers be increased in many ways. It will help in increasing the fold, but will also get freedom from all kinds of diseases and the safety of the mother will also be ensured. We all should contribute together in this program. He said that in 2017, the country’s sugar industry was on the verge of closure, but in the last five years, the government ran the closed sugar mills. He said that 120 sugar mills continued to run amid the Corona epidemic and in these five years, the government succeeded in making payment of 1 lakh 75 thousand crores to the sugarcane farmers.
