Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Dadaji Bhuse has said that emphasis is being laid on building a brand of Maharashtra in the agriculture and food processing industry. Therefore, the officers and employees working in the Directorate are expected to recognize this importance and work in such a way that a new identity of the state is created in this field. He said that self-help groups, farmers, government, especially all those working in the industry need to work together for the development of the food processing industry.

Straw said that the agriculture schemes of the state and central government are being implemented through the agriculture department. Prime Minister’s Micro Food Industry Upgradation Scheme, Chief Minister’s Agriculture and Food Processing Scheme, Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme, Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Program, Balasaheb Thackeray Agribusiness and Rural Transformation Project, Nanaji Deshmukh Krishi Sanjeevani Project, Integrated Horticulture Development Mission, Maharashtra Agri Business Network and Prime Minister Farmers are being given benefits through Kisan Sampada Yojana. There is a need to work together.
E-marketing information to farmers
The Agriculture Minister said that action is being taken to expedite the work of Directorate of Agriculture and Food Processing.
