This will also curb people who steal electricity. A budget of Rs 1751 crore has been allocated to Aligarh to make this system smooth.
Actually, SK Aggarwal, Chief Engineer of Aligarh Urban Area Power Corporation, said that the power supply will be smooth and control will be done on power theft, line loss etc. For this, under the Revamp scheme of the Central Government, work has started on the improvement of electricity in Aligarh division with an amount of Rs 1751 crore. In such a situation, it is being claimed by the officials, if all goes well, then in the coming time such arrangements will be made from power houses to transformers and meters of consumers so that no one can steal electricity.
2666 km line of 11 KV to be put in tube well for rural areas
At the same time, in the month of April, the target related to this scheme of line loss power theft control could not be met. However, now the emphasis is on completing the target in the month of May. Where a total of 16785 km of armored cable will be laid in Aligarh division to prevent line loss from one thousand two crore rupees. In which 5585 km of ABC and 2201 km of XLP cable will be laid in those areas. During this line loss is high. In rural areas, 2666 km of 11 kV line will be laid for tube wells.
Strictness will be taken to reduce line loss
Let us tell you that 1528 km of cable will be replaced in the urban area of 11 KVA. Along with this, work will also be done on the capacity addition of sub-stations, capacity addition of transformers, apart from Rs 749 crore on new meters. With this work, theft in the city and countryside will be completely curbed. For this, the government is continuously making efforts by the Center.
