E-Shram card: For the workers working in the unorganized sector, the government has launched the e-shram portal (E-shram Portal) was introduced. So far more than 22 crore workers have applied for e-shram card. Can farmers register?
The question is constantly being asked that, can farmers register on the e-shram portal? Let us tell you, people coming under ESIC and EPFO cannot register. But agricultural laborers and landless farmers are eligible to register on the e-shram portal. Apart from this, other farmers are not eligible for this.
52.76% women have the highest claim
Workers working in the unorganized sector can self-register on the e-shram portal, or another option is also available with you from the Common Service Center. Let us tell you, women are the largest number of people who have registered on the e-shram portal. According to the information received by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, 52.76 percent women and 47.24 percent men have so far registered on the e-shram portal.
Apart from this, most people have registered themselves by visiting the Common Service Center. On the other hand, the second number is of self-registrants and a very small number of people have registered by visiting the State Service Center.
