Bastar Dussehra, Chhattisgarh

Bastar Dussehra is a unique experience. This festival, celebrated through tribals in Chhattisgarh, lasts for 75 days. It is said that this tradition was started in the 13th century by Bastar King Purushottam Dev in Bade Dongar. During these 75 days, several rituals are performed such as Pata Jatra, Kachan Gadi and Nisha Jatra.
