Divya Shakti, a resident of Chapra, Bihar, was selected for IPS but Divya’s dream was to become an IAS. After which she kept preparing for UPSC even in the midst of training and now she has got 58th rank. Divya has been selected for IAS.
Bihar has once again got to see its glory in the Union Public Service Commission (UPAC) examination. While last year the UPSC topper was a resident of Katihar district of Bihar, this year also the students of Bihar have done wonders. The second topper of UPSC is from Bihar. Ankita Agarwal of Madhepura district of Bihar has become the second topper. On the other hand, Divya Shakti, daughter of Kotheya of Jalalpur block of Chapra, has got 58th rank in the civil services examination. Earlier in the year 2019, Divya got 79th rank. She was selected for IPS but Divya’s dream was to become an IS. In 2020, Divya was allotted the Indian Police Service but she was not satisfied with it, she was dreaming of becoming an IAS officer, not an IPS. Then Divya fulfilled her dream on the strength of hard work and strong will power. He has got 58th rank in the examination of 2022. And she has been selected for IAS.
First selected for IPS and now IAS
Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Singh’s daughter Divya Shakti studied up to 10th standard from Muzaffarpur. After this she went to DPS Bokaro to study Inter. Divya Shakti is an engineering graduate. He has done engineering in computer science from BIT Pilani. After this he did his post graduate in economics. Divya has also worked for an American company for two years. After that she started preparing for civil service. In 2019, he had secured 79th rank in the Civil Services Examination. Then Divya got selected for IPS and went to Hyderabad to take training.
UPSC preparation with training
Divya also kept preparing for IAS amidst intense training of IPS and in 2022 she has got 58th rank. Divya Shakti said that it was my dream to become an IAS, so along with training, she was also preparing for UPSC. He had chosen Geography as a subject in UPSC exam. There is an atmosphere of celebration in the family after Divya got the 58th rank in the UPAC result.
