First of all, on Sunday, the Barhiya Rail Sangharsh Samiti stopped the Hatia-Patliputra train by putting a red flag on the tracks of the Up and Down lines at the Barhiya station. After this, the operation of trains passing through here stopped. The protesters sat on the railway track by putting up tents. By laying a carpet on the tracks, bhajan kirtan was started from the mike. The villagers started reciting Sundarkand by putting a mic here. Arrangements for food and drink were made at the station itself for the people protesting for the stoppage of the train. After this, 40 routes including the capital passing through here have been changed. While 23 trains were canceled
Rail operations affected for more than 32 hours
After this, on Monday evening, considering the demands of the agitators, the railway administration has taken 2 months for the stoppage of trains here. Patliputra Express and Jansewa Express have been said to be ensured in 15 days. The Railway Administration team led by Lakhisarai District Magistrate Sanjay Kumar and ADRM of Danapur Division of East Central Railway spoke to the people involved in the agitation. And after his solid assurance, the agitation has ended, during which rail operations were affected for more than 32 hours on this route.
