Delhi: Was planning to travel on fake ID, arrested at airport
On T2 of Delhi Airport, a person has been arrested by Delhi Police. This man was in a rush to travel on fake ID. In fact, a group of 15 laborers were going to Leh from Go Air flight, a person in their midst was trying to board a flight on fake ID. The CISF personnel stationed at the airport security identified it and handed it over to the Delhi Police. The special cell of Delhi Police has also questioned this man.
Police investigation revealed that these workers’ group had come to Delhi from Jharkhand and from here Leh was going to work on a project in flight. At present, the police is collecting more information from this person.
Crossed border showing fake ID of assistant commissioner
According to a media report, when the Modi government imposed a nationwide lockdown due to Corona virus, the train, metro, bus and flight were all closed due to this. Also, the borders of all the states including Delhi were sealed. Although some people were also taking illegal steps to cross the border, one such case came up in Delhi.
Delhi Police arrested a person who wanted to cross the Delhi border through fake ID card of Assistant Commissioner. This person was identified as Suraj Singh Bisht. He wanted to cross the Delhi border on behalf of Anand Vihar riding in a car, when the police caught him.
The accused had written the Government of India on his car. When the police personnel on the Delhi border stopped him and asked him to show the lockdown pass, he showed the ID card of an Assistant Commissioner. When the police personnel got suspicious, they asked to show another ID card. After seeing the second ID card of the accused Suraj Singh Bisht, the suspicion of the police personnel turned into confidence. The Assistant Commissioner’s ID card shown by the accused turned out to be fake. The two ID cards which the accused Suraj Singh Bisht showed to the police personnel, had different dates of birth.
