Delhi Police has arrested an ambulance driver who was asking for 14 thousand rupees to carry the dead body to the crematorium ghat just six km away.

On the other hand, profiteers are not getting away with their antics. Delhi Police has arrested an ambulance driver who was asking for 14 thousand rupees to carry the dead body to the crematorium ghat just six km away.
Mukherjee Nagar Police arrested the accused driver (Accused Driver Arrested). This incident is being reported on Saturday. Police is interrogating him. It is being told that the driver asking for more money is a resident of Priyadarshani Colony of Yamuna Bazaar. On Saturday, it was reported at Mukherjee Nagar police station that an ambulance driver was asking for money to take the body from New Life Hospital to Nigam Bodh Ghat according to his wish (Demand More Money Reaching Dead Body). Additional DCP Gur Iqbal Singh of North-West District revealed this.
14 thousand asked for 6 km corpse to be delivered
The police officer said that after receiving the complaint, the policeman himself called the ambulance driver as the patient’s family and where to take the body from the hospital to Nigambodh Ghat. In return, the ambulance driver demanded 14 thousand rupees from him. The police were also stunned to hear of charging such a huge amount for a distance of just six km.
The police, while showing promptness, confirmed the deal with the accused driver. After which the driver sent him a slip of 14 thousand rupees. Police officers arrested him as soon as the ambulance driver reached the hospital to take the body to the crematorium.
Accused ambulance driver arrested
These days, from drug to crematorium, profiteers continue to be arbitrary. Somewhere patients have to pay more for medicines, then they have to suffer the arbitrariness of the ambulance driver even to take the dead body after death. However, the police are continuously raiding such people to tighten the screws. Now the Mukherjee Municipal Police arrested one such profiteering ambulance driver who was charging Rs 14,000 to take the body to the crematorium six km away.
