The court has rejected the bail applications of accused Sadiq and Irshad Ali, while granted bail to Shahnawaz and Mohammad Ayub. The 11 accused in this case had filed bail applications. The five accused, who were granted bail by the court on September 3, include Mohammad Arif, Shadab Ahmed, Furqan, Suwaleen and Tabassum. The court had said that sections 149 and 302 cannot be invoked on the basis of vague evidence and allegations of a general nature. The court had said that if it comes to mobs, while granting bail, it is important for the court to consider whether every member is part of an unlawful mob.
