Delhi Riots: bail plea of ​​accused Jalaluddin in the murder of head constable Ratanlal canceled, bail not received even for the fourth time

During this, the court rejected it, refusing to grant bail to the accused. (Jalalauddin) is pelting stones at police officers. The court said that on the basis of the video footage, it can be assumed that Jalaluddin was actively involved in the incident of stone pelting on policeman Ratanlal. This is the reason why the court refused to grant him bail for the fourth time (Bail Plea Cancel).

No bail in Ratanlal’s murder case

On 8 June 2020, the SIT of the Crime Branch had filed a chargesheet in the murder of Head Constable Ratan Lal. It has been said in the chargesheet that the rioters had taken to the streets by advising the children and the elderly to stay at home. It has also been said in the chargesheet that on 23 February 2020, the rioters returned after the uproar, but then on 24 February 2020, the miscreants again came out on the streets and pelted stones at the police.

The mob killed on 24 February

Many policemen including Shahdara’s DCP, Gokalpuri’s ACP Anuj Kamar were injured in the attack by the rioters. According to the chargesheet, the violent mob also attacked the nearby Mohan Nursing Home. Policemen were recruited in Mohan Nursing Home. Head constable Ratanlal was killed in this violence. Ratanlal was killed in a mob attack on 24 February. In this case, Delhi Police had filed a charge sheet against 17 accused.
