The cyber cell of Delhi Police’s West District busted a fake international call center. Police arrested 16 people in the case. 25 computers, 3 internet distribution switches, 3 patch ports, 2 internet routers, 18 mobile phones, script pages and illegal software were recovered from them. Police reached the spot and identified two people named Taranjot Singh and Krishna Gurung, who were making calls as well as giving instructions to other people.

The Delhi Police’s cyber cell of West District had received a secret information that some people are running international online fraud racket in Kirti Nagar area and fraudsters are using illegal techniques, VOIP calling for this. The cyber cell also came to know that these people running fake call centers are making people sitting abroad (USA) a victim of their fraud.

After receiving the information, the police raided a fake call center where many callers were engaged in making and receiving calls and foreign numbers were appearing on the screen on the caller’s desktop. Police reached the spot and identified two people named Taranjot Singh and Krishna Gurung, who were making calls as well as giving instructions to other people. When the police questioned the people working in the center, they could not give any satisfactory answer .. In the interrogation, the accused said that these people made a VOIP call to the people sitting abroad, they themselves got technical support of an online shopping site (Amazon). Used to tell and make him a victim of his swindle.

Have done the deception of crores

According to the police, during the interrogation of the accused, it has come to know that they used to call the customer of the online shopping site (Amazon) and say that there was a suspicious transaction with your shopping account. To solve this problem, you have to join the technical spotter team of the online shopping site. After this, these people used to get access to their computers / laptops / mobiles through a special software (Quick Spot) of the foreigners who came to their treachery and after that they would buy the gift card from the victim’s card and make illegal transactions. Were. According to the police, till now these people have committed fraud of crores.
