Sources have told that the fire was so severe that the inner walls cracked and fell on each other, in such a situation, there is a problem in carrying out the rescue operation by removing the debris. They say that after the rescue on the third and fourth floors, the death toll in the incident may increase further. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has also been deployed to control the fire.

The fire started from the first floor

According to Delhi Police DCP Sameer Sharma, a fire was reported on PCR at 5.45 pm on Friday evening. As soon as the information was received, the police and fire brigade personnel reached the spot and immediately the rescue operation was started. The policemen broke the windows of the building for the initial rescue and took the injured to the hospital. Initial police investigation revealed that the building was used commercially to give space to companies. The fire started from the first floor, where CCTV cameras and routers were made and assembled.
