In view of the increasing cases of Coronavirus in Delhi, the Kejriwal government of Delhi has announced the imposition of Night Night Curfew in the national capital. This night curfew will be in force from tonight till 30 April every night from 10 am to 5 pm. For this, DDMA has also issued a formal order which clarifies what restrictions are imposed during these curfews. However, the government has clearly stated that due to this curfew, no necessary service will be affected in any way.

One can apply for the pass by visiting the website of Delhi government www.delhi.gov.in. Apart from this, the district administration will also issue e-passes.
No e-pass required
1. Health, Disaster Control, Police, Civil Defense, Fire Service, District Administration, Account, Electricity Department, Water and Sanitation and Government officials associated with air rail and bus, Delhi Government officials and all staff officers of Autonomous Bodies and Corporation Will be discounted.
2. All private medical staff, doctors, nursing staff, paramedical staff, diagnostic centers, clinics etc. will also get discounts. Exemptions will also be available for pregnant women and patients
3. People going to or coming from airport, railway station, bus station will get discount on showing valid tickets.
4. Those associated with the diplomatic office of other countries will get exemption from these restrictions on showing valid icards.
5. There will be no restriction on the movement of essential and non-essential goods coming from other states.
E-pass is required for
1. Ration, Grocery, Fruit-Vegetable, Milk, Meat-fish, Animal Feed Shops, Pharmaceutical Shops, Banks, Insurance Offices, ATMs
2. The beneficiaries are going to be vaccinated with the Coronavirus vaccine. Exemption will be given on showing E-pass to the beneficiaries.
3. Print and electronic media
4. Internet service, IT broadcasting and cable connected people,
5. E-commerce delivery of all essential goods like food and medicine
6. Petrol pump LPG CNG and its retail outlets
7. Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution Unit
8. Cold Storage and Warehouse Service
9. Manufacturing unit of private security service and all essential goods
Impact on transport facilities?
1. Public transport facilities like Delhi Metro, Bus, Auto, Taxi will be able to run according to their schedule. But they will be allowed to visit only those who have been exempted during the night curfew.
2. All the District Magistrates and DCPs have been ordered to implement these restrictions strictly.
3. Whoever does not follow these orders, action will be taken against them under the DDMA Act.
