Himachal Pradesh CM Jai Ram Thakur inaugurated the Golden Himachal Kala Mahotsav in Delhi today. This festival is being organized jointly by Language, Art and Culture Himachal Pradesh and Hotel Lalit from 4th to 9th December. This event is a part of programs being organized throughout the year on the occasion of Golden Jubilee of full statehood of Himachal Pradesh. On this occasion, CM Jai Ram Thakur said that Himachal Pradesh has completed a wonderful journey of development in the last 50 years and has made great progress in every field.
Himachal CM said that the achievements of Himachal Pradesh in the field of health and education have been appreciated at the national level. He appealed to the people of Delhi to come to Himachal to enjoy the unique natural beauty and serene atmosphere of Himachal Pradesh. Jai Ram Thakur said that the state was appreciated at the national level for its efforts in covid management and the state has also done a very good job in covid vaccination.
Himachal Art Festival begins
CM Jai Ram Thakur said that Himachal Pradesh ranks first in the country in the matter of giving both the doses of COVID vaccine. During the program, young entrepreneurs Harish Nadda and Keshav Suri honored the Chief Minister by presenting them Himachali caps and shawls. On this occasion, the President of Special Olympics, Dr. Mallika Nadda was present there as a special guest. This event is an initiative of Dr. Mallika Nadda and Dr. Jyotsna Suri, President, Lalit Group of Hospitality.
Dr. Mallika Nadda gave detailed information about this event. He urged the guests to encourage them to promote Himachali artists. He praised Dr. Jyotsna Suri, President, The Lalit Hospitality Group, for promoting Chamba Rumal. Principal Residential Commissioner S.K. Singla and Director of Language, Art and Culture Dr. Pankaj Lalit honored Dr. Mallika Nadda and Dr. Jyotsna Suri by presenting Himachali cap and shawl.

Lalita Vakil and Anita Kumari were awarded for achieving achievements and promoting Chamba Rumal, Himachali Arts and Crafts. Master Chef Nand Lal was also honored on the occasion. On this occasion, the artists of Kullu district presented an attractive cultural program.
Stalls of Chamba handkerchiefs, Himachali handicrafts, wood crafts, metal crafts, Kangra painting, Kinnauri and Kullu shawls have been set up in the festival. Attractive programs of Himachal’s folk dance and folk music will also be organized.
Many traditional Himachali dishes including Sepu Vadi, Rajma Madra, Chambayali Palda will be present there for the visitors coming to the festival. On this occasion, MP and BJP State President Suresh Kashyap, and dignitaries from many embassies, senior officials of the Central Government and Delhi dignitaries were also present.
