The Delhi government said that those wishing to get a learning license for e-rickshaws can directly contact the licensing authority. The decision is part of the government’s efforts to change the way regional offices or regional transport offices (RTOs) operate in the city, including Certificate of Registration (RC) and “faceless services” for license-related activities, which Currently undergoing testing.

Government is increasing faceless system

Subsidy will be provided for the purchase of e-rickshaws
Additionally, to facilitate the process of obtaining a driving license for those who find difficulty in taking the working day exam, the government has also given an option to appear for the test on Sunday. Delhi will provide a subsidy of Rs 30,000 for the purchase of e-rickshaws to promote electric vehicles under the EV Policy, 2020.
The government is planning to pay five percent interest on the loan through the Delhi Finance Corporation (DFC) on the purchase of each such vehicle.
