In the three district areas of Delhi Police alone, 54 cases were registered under the Arms Act, 51 under the Excise Act and nine under the National Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act in the month of September alone. This has come to the fore in official figures. According to the data, the police of North West district has registered 15 cases under the Arms Act and arrested 19 people related to it. A total of three firearms and 13 knives were recovered from them.
According to the data, the police of the outer district have arrested 38 people by registering 29 cases under the Arms Act. A total of 12 pistols, 23 cartridges and 25 knives, including eight country-made ones, were recovered from these people. At the same time, 10 cases of Arms Act were registered in the North-East district and three country-made pistols, three live cartridges and six knives were recovered.

According to the data, 22 people were arrested and 14 pistols, 17 cartridges and 10 knives were recovered in the northern district. The number of cases registered under the Arms Act in this district is not known.
Last month, 70 people were arrested under the Excise Act in Delhi’s North West, North and Outer districts. Of these, 15 people were arrested in North West, 23 in North and 32 in Outer District.
A total of 15 cases under the Excise Act were registered in the North West district and 1,586 bottles of liquor were recovered, while in the outer district 26 cases were registered and 2,583 bottles of liquor were seized from there.

Apart from this, 9,114 and 878 bottles have been recovered in North and North-East district respectively. Apart from this, five cases were registered under the NDPS Act in the Outer Delhi district area and eight people were arrested. 55.210 kg of ganja, 4.1 grams of smack and 167 grams of heroin were seized from them.
Three such cases were registered in North West district and three people were arrested under this Act. 4.884 kg of ganja and 510 grams of charas have been recovered from them.
In the northern district, six people were arrested under the NDPS Act and 352 grams of heroin and 50 grams of smack were recovered from them. Significantly, Delhi has been divided into 15 district areas under the police.
