For the past few years, it has been seen that India has been putting forward its young diplomats to represent the country in the UN. This was also a big opportunity for Sneha, an officer of IFS i.e. Indian Foreign Service. She has reached here with a lot of hard work and dedication. Sneha Dubey had cracked UPSC in her very first attempt. He already has a great interest in international affairs. She is a 2012 batch woman IFS officer.
Sneha Dubey’s childhood was spent in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He was born there, where his father was an engineer in a cable company. His family lived in Cable Town. But after the sudden closure of the company in the year 2000, his entire family has moved to Goa. His father got a job in Finolex Cable Company in Gaon. His mother has been a teacher.
Sneha got her early education from the village itself. After this he graduated from Fergusson College, Pune. Then she went to Delhi for further studies. He did his MA from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi and then did his MPhil from there. He cleared UPSC in his very first attempt and got IFS. After becoming IFS, he was appointed in the Ministry of External Affairs. After this, in the year 2014, he was appointed at the Indian Embassy in Madrid. Then a few years later she was appointed as the first secretary of India in the United Nations General Assembly.
