In the cruise drugs case, the NCB team is conducting raids at three places in the city. NCB raids are running in Bandra, Andheri and Powai in Western Suburb. Filmmaker Imtiaz Khatri was questioned by the NCB on Thursday in the cruise drugs case. The official said that the NCB has questioned Khatri for the third time in this case. The official said Khatri was questioned for about four hours. After this NCB let him go. Khatri will have to appear again before the NCB. Because his statements are yet to be taken.
During the raid on the cruise on the night of October 2, the NCB had recovered several types of drugs and also arrested eight people. Those arrested included Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Satija, Ishmeet Singh Chaddha, Mohak Jaiswal, Gomit Chopra and Vikrant Chhokar.

After this, on 3 October, NCB’s zonal director Sameer Wankhede confirmed the detention of Aryan Khan. After this, Arya Khan was arrested on the same day on charges related to drugs. Along with Aryan, seven more people were medically examined.
On October 4, the first hearing on the bail plea of Aryan Khan and others took place in a Mumbai court. NCB sought extension of custody till October 11. Aryan Khan’s lawyer argued that no drugs were found from him. The court sent Aryan to the custody of MCB till October 7.
Imtiaz Khatri on NCB radar since 9 October
On 7 October, a Mumbai court sent Aryan Khan and other accused to 14-day judicial custody. After this, on October 8, the court rejected the bail applications of Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha. On the very next day, NCB raided the office of Imtiaz Khatri and called him for questioning. At the same time, Arya Khan was shifted to Arthur Road Jail.
