After the new cases, the number of active cases has increased to 34,87,229, which is 16.87 percent of the total cases. According to the Health Ministry, there were an increase of 40,096 cases in the active case in the last 24 hours. Maharashtra recorded the highest number of 51,880 new cases and 891 deaths on Tuesday. After this, 44,631 new cases were reported in Karnataka, 37,190 in Kerala, 25,858 in Uttar Pradesh.
The Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday that 12 states – Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, West Bengal, Bihar, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala – together accounted for 81.41 percent of the total active cases in India. is. Each of these states has more than 1 lakh active cases.
At the same time, more than 16.04 crore vaccine doses have been made in the country. According to the Union Health Ministry, both vaccine doses have been administered to 3,04,49,733 people and one dose to 13,00,44,455 people. On Tuesday, only 14,84,989 doses were made across the country. So far, Maharashtra has the highest dose of 1.65 crore, followed by Rajasthan 1.34 crore, Gujarat has more than 1.30 crore vaccine doses.
New Advisory on RT-PCR Testing

After mounting pressure on the testing lab, the Indian Medical Council of Medical Research (ICMR) yesterday issued a new advisory for RT-PCR testing. In which RT-PCR tests are not to be conducted again for those found infected, one state has been asked to eliminate the need for healthy people going to another state. Also, people who have been cured of infection do not have to undergo an investigation after being discharged from hospitals.
Medical equipments from foreign countries were given to the states
At the same time, the Central Government said on Tuesday that many countries of the world are providing medical equipment, medicines, oxygen concentrators, ventilators to support the efforts of the Government of India in the fight against Kovid-19. Within a few hours of the arrival of these goods, 24 × 7 work is being done for their fast clearance. Also, under a standard procedure, these goods of 24 different categories in number of about 40 lakhs have been delivered to many states and union territories. According to the central government, these goods include oxygen concentrators, oxygen cylinders, PSA oxygen plants, pulse oximeters, flavipirvir and remodevir drugs, PPE, N-95 masks.
