With the help of electricity, these trucks can produce 70 kilograms every hour and up to 50 thousand liters of oxygen per day. One diplomat said, “We have already bought 4 such trucks. More trucks are being ordered so that the scarcity of oxygen can be removed. By the end of this week, these trucks will be coming to India via Russia’s IL-76 aircraft. “
The effective efficiency of Sputnik-V against the corona virus is more than 90 percent. India on 12 April had approved the use of Emergency as the first foreign vaccine. India has started vaccination for 18+ people from 1 May. After which there was a shortage of vaccine in many states. After the introduction of the Sputnik-V vaccine, it will help to fill the gap to some extent. However, the price of this vaccine has not been disclosed yet.
Russia approved Sputnik-V on 11 August 2020. Subsequently, in September, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) entered into an agreement for the clinical trial of the vaccine. Dr. Reddy’s has already received permission for controlled emergency use of this vaccine. After the first shipment of the vaccine, Deepak Sapra, CEO of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories’ API and Services division, said, “The first batch of 1,50,000 doses of Sputnik-V vaccine has arrived from Russia to Hyderabad. The distribution of this consignment will be subject to the necessary approvals, which will be completed in the next few days. ”
Last month, the government approved the import of foreign vaccine
The government last month allowed emergency use of imported vaccines to prevent the outbreak of Corona virus infection and waived customs duties on their imports. Recently, Russian Ambassador Nikolay Kudashev said when medical supplies arrived from Russia, “There is also the most important Sputnik-V vaccine in the common fight against the Corona virus, which will start coming from May.” And later it will be produced in India as well. “
He said that at the beginning of the epidemic last year, India, while showing its friendship, had supplied emergency to hydroxychloroquine in Russia. He had said, “In this difficult time, cooperation with each other is the only way by which we can defeat the corona virus. Collective fight and mutual respect should be the biggest weapon against any challenge. We hope that the efforts made by Russia today will help the efforts of the Government of India against Kovid-19. “
