The second wave of corona virus in the country is becoming dangerous every day compared to last year. Record new cases are coming out in many states. On Friday, 2,17,353 new cases were registered in the country. Many medical experts and doctors are blaming the new variant of Kovid-19 for this second wave. The number of new cases is increasing rapidly, but whether the symptoms of infection in the second wave are different from before or more patients are without symptoms. Many experts also said that the virus is spreading faster than before and is infecting many people after getting infected.
The English website ‘The News Minute’ (TNM) spoke to some doctors about the danger of the second wave. Most doctors said that they are not getting any new symptoms this time apart from the first wave. According to the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention, common symptoms of the Korana virus include fever, headache, cough, shortness of breath, body ache, fatigue, taste, and odor. Now in some cases, complaints of vomiting, diarrhea have also come to light.
Dr. P Vasanthamani, dean of Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai, told TNM, Kovid patients in the hospital have not shown any distinct symptoms, although many patients have subsequently complained of diarrhea (diarrhea). At the same time, Dr. E. Theranirajan, Dean of Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital, Chennai said that in the second wave, patients with symptoms are being seen more. He said, “Earlier there were more cases without symptoms. Now it has reduced. This is a big problem. Earlier they were sent to Kovid Care Center, but now we cannot send them. ”
At the same time, according to the report of Times of India, among the people who are getting infected right now, some symptoms are most common. Such as throat pain, fatigue and body pain. Sore throat / itchy problems have been found in 52 percent of infections worldwide. Due to this people also have difficulty in eating food or drinking water. Feeling tired in the body from any virus infection is a common symptom, but in the case of Kovid-19, it has become a very serious problem. Experts in Britain said that most patients are also having weakness. Complaints of body pain and muscle aches have been reported in most cases of Kovid.
Not positive despite symptoms
This time many cases are coming in which the patient has all the symptoms related to Kovid-19, despite this they come negative. Even the RT-PCR test, which is considered to be the best scale for virus detection, is not being detected. Many hospitals in Delhi gave information about this. According to the Times of India report, Dr. Ashish Chaudhary, managing director of Aakash Healthcare, said, “We have seen many such patients in the last few days. He had fever, cough, respiratory problems and a lung CT scan showed symptoms. This is called patchy ground glass opacity in the medical term. “
He said that some patients were examined through broncholvolar lavage (BAL). It is a method of identifying diseases, in which a flexible pipe is transported with a certain amount of chemical to the lungs through the mouth or nose and then examined, after which the disease is identified. Dr. Chaudhary said, “All the patients who were found negative in the old testing methods of Kovid-19 but who had symptoms, came positive in the Lavage test.”
New variants confirmed in many states
Several new variants of the Kovid-19 were identified in India, including the new variant of the Kovid-19 that came out in Britain, Brazil and South Africa. Apart from this, a new “double mutant” variant has also been found in other states including Maharashtra, Delhi, where there is a spurt in corona virus cases. Last month, the Ministry of Health also said that new variants of Corona are also successful in avoiding the body’s anti-body and its effect is also greater than before.
