Dr. Randeep Guleria told the people that patients who are isolated at home and whose oxygen saturation is more than 94, then there is no need for oxygen cylinders or Remedisvir injection. He said that if you take Remedisvir in this situation, then it may reduce the benefit rather than the loss. Most people are recovering from common medicines and home remedies. If oxygen saturation falls below 94, then only Remedesvir is needed.
Only 10-15% patients are serious – Guleria
Dr. Guleria said, “Kovid-19 infection is a common infection. Fever, cough, cold, body pain are common symptoms in 85 to 90 percent of the people. Most people can be cured in 7 to 10 days by taking medicines, through home remedies or by yoga. Only 10–15 per cent of patients are serious, they may need remadecivir, oxygen or plasma. If there is a problem related to the breath, then there is no need to apply oxygen immediately, you lie on your stomach and exercise the breath. Less than 5 percent of patients require ventilator support. “

Dr. Trehan said that when the oxygen level starts falling (below 94), then there is a need to go to the hospital. He said, “Do not go to weddings, parties. Stay away from crowded places. Those who go out to work, when they come home, first remove the mask, change clothes and only then meet their family members. We are all coming in front of you so that you pay attention to the facts and not panic. ”
Dr. Navit Wig, Head of Medicine Department, AIIMS Delhi, said that if we want to save people, then we need to save healthcare workers. He said, “If the health workers are saved, then only the country will survive. We have to break the chain of transition. That should be our goal and everyone should be responsible for this. ” He said that if someone has symptoms and is unable to get tested, then he should isolate himself in the house instead of panic.
