Special campaign started to vaccinate 3 lakh people
Stability and vaccination in cases of corona in the country (Vaccination) Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to increase the speed of (Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao) Directed the Health Department to vaccinate three lakh people in a day by running a special vaccination campaign for further prevention of COVID-19 cases in the state. In fact, the CM had a review meeting with health officials in Pragati Bhavan yesterday i.e. on Sunday regarding COVID-19 cases and vaccination.
In this meeting, officials told that there are 2.80 crore people above the age of 18 years, while 1.42 crore people have been given single dose of vaccine and 53 lakh have been vaccinated for second dose. Another 1.38 crore are yet to get a dose in the state. KCR directed the officials to involve elected representatives of all local bodies like Gram Panchayat Sarpanch, ZPTC, MPTC, Village Secretaries, Ward members to carry out the special campaign. “Sarpanches of gram panchayats had done a good job by providing food and isolation centers during the lockdown. They should play an active role in this campaign as well.”
Use of private buildings as vaccination centers
He also asked Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to organize a special vaccination campaign by holding a meeting with the collectors. “Schools, colleges, Rythu Vedika, government and private buildings can be used as vaccination centres,” the CM said. Health department officials also assured that after the reopening of schools and colleges, there is no need to panic due to Covid 19 cases in educational institutions.

Till now the state government had given priority to irrigation and agriculture, from now on health and education sectors should also be taken care of. “The newly proposed medical college and super specialty hospitals should be completed at the earliest and two towers should be constructed in the NIMS campus,” he said.
