Medical experts say that antibodies are proving incapable of fighting the second wave virus, hence the infection cases are increasing rapidly.
The second wave of coronavirus in India is proving more dangerous. The number of cases which have started coming up from all over the country were never seen during the first wave. The most worrying thing is that now the figures of deaths from corona are also increasing. According to the medical expert, there may be two reasons behind the severe and aggravating second wave of corona infection.
Professor N., Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi N. Mathur said that antibodies were found in many people during the first wave of corona last year, which is effective in fighting corona infection. He told that there is a possibility that either these antibodies are proving to be incapable of fighting this new virus, or that the antibodies that people had developed during the first wave of corona last year have now lost their effect.
Mathur said that antibodies were found in a large number of people in the sero survey conducted in the national capital Delhi and many other states during the last year, but the kind of infection that is seen this year, it seems that antibodies are now Has weakened. He told that the second reason may also be that antibodies are proving unable to fight the second wave virus, hence the cases of infection are increasing rapidly.
