After becoming the CM for the third time in West Bengal (West Bengal), there is a dispute between the Bengal Government and the Central Government. Mamata Banerjee has been constantly raising questions about the policy of the central government regarding the corona epidemic. Mamta Banerjee had earlier demanded free vaccine to the entire country. This time the West Bengal government has approached the Supreme Court directly on the demand for free distribution of vaccines.
Please tell that already many states have announced free vaccination in their respective states. Mamta Banerjee has also announced to provide free vaccine to all the people of the state. The state government claims that the central government needs to adopt a uniform policy for vaccination across the country.
Vaccines have different prices
Let us know that the two companies manufacturing the vaccine have decided to sell the vaccine to the state governments at different prices. Serum said that they will sell the cove shield to the state governments for Rs 300, while India Biotech has told that – The vaccine dose will be Rs 400 per dose. The state government has complained in the Supreme Court that it is not right to take the price from the state government. The central government should adopt a uniform policy so that the states get the vaccine for free and give it to the people of the state for free. At the same time, the state has raised questions about the disparity in the price of vaccines. However, the court has already sought answers from the Center on the matter.
Demand to implement a policy regarding vaccine
According to sources, the state government has said in its petition that the Center should take immediate steps to make the vaccine available and to ensure free distribution to the states. The state has also appealed to the Center to cut the policy of price inequality. According to sources, the case related to the vaccine will come on the bench of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court next Monday.
