Delhi and Maharashtra have announced a number of precautionary measures in view of the cases of corona rising rapidly. Several strict restrictions have been implemented with the night curfew on behalf of the state governments. Night curfew in Delhi and weekend lockdown has been announced with curfew in Maharashtra. Everything will be closed in Delhi from 10 am to 5 am every day. This detainee will run till 30 April.
On the other hand, Maharashtra has also announced the closure of commercial establishments. It also includes bar and liquor contracts. Liquor shops in Delhi are closed at 10 pm. Hence there will be no effect of curfew. But the Maharashtra government has banned the sale of all types of liquor at night.
The Maharashtra government has said that all types of bars and liquor shops in cities and rural areas will remain closed until further orders. According to the government, no spirit product will be allowed to be sold in Maharashtra. Sales of wholesale or retail liquor will remain closed until further orders. Violators of this guideline may have to face stern action. However, there will be no restriction on the production of alcohol and the liquor factory will continue to function as before. The factories have been instructed that thermal screening of the people working in the production unit will be done and social distancing will be taken care of.
School-college closed
No new rules have been announced so far regarding home delivery or parcel delivery of liquor in Maharashtra. During the lockdown last year, online delivery facility was given in view of the high demand for alcohol.

Along with this, all types of social, political and cultural programs are banned. Malls, shops and market-halls will remain closed. However, shops of essential category have been exempted.
There was an exemption in lockdown last year
During the lockdown last year, there was an exemption for delivery of liquor at home. The facility to order liquor was given over the phone. Later it was also done online. IMFL, shopkeepers selling beer and liquor were allowed to deliver liquor at the permit holders’ home. The token facility was introduced in Pune and Nashik for a fixed period. Wholesalers from Pune and Nashik had created a mobile app through which people could get online tokens. After getting the token number, people could get their stock in a fixed time period. People could get the token number of liquor through the phone too.
