The Delta Plus variant has been put in the ‘Variants of Concern’ category by the Union Health Ministry. In such a situation, this variant can become a new challenge in the coming time. Recently, the central government has accepted that the new variant of Corona is very close to the previous Delta variant. The Ministry of Health has stated that there exists a variant of AY.1 corona virus which is an evolved form of the delta variant of corona virus.
