The condition of coronavirus in the country is continuously deteriorating. More than one lakh cases of corona which came out in the last 24 hours have broken all records. The maximum number of cases are coming from 8 states of the country. According to the information, 80.96 percent cases are coming from these states.
Among the 8 states which are said to be the worst, the states include Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Earlier on Saturday, 92 thousand 961 corona cases were reported. Corona cases have increased by 39 per cent in the last few weeks. These rising cases of Corona have put the country at the top of the worst outbreak countries.
Weekend Lockdown in Maharashtra
In view of the increasing cases of Corona, the Maharashtra government has announced a weekend lockdown. There will be a rigorous lockdown from 8 pm on Friday night to 7 am on Monday. Apart from this, the night curfew will be applicable from 8 am to 7 am from Monday to Friday and Section 144 will be applicable in the day. That is, 5 people will not be able to gather together in one place. The cabinet meeting started at 3 pm and lasted more than two and a half hours. The rules related to the decision taken in the meeting will be applicable from 8 pm on Monday night, which will be applicable till at least 30 April.
Talking to the media on the decisions taken in the meeting, Nawab Malik said that only those engaged in essential services will be allowed to leave at night. Malls, restaurants, bars, theaters, gardens, Chowpatty, cinema, theaters, auditoriums, religious places will remain closed. But parcel facilities will remain operational. The vegetable market will remain open, but rules will be made to reduce congestion. Shooting will begin The condition is that it would be prohibited to shoot crowded scenes like war and movement. All government offices will continue to work with 50 percent capabilities, but in the absence of excessive need in private offices, ‘Work from Home’ will be directed. The government will soon issue an SOP on this subject. All industries will remain open. Construction work will continue. Government contract works will continue. There will be no restriction on the movement of workers.
