Coronavirus: 58 percent ICU beds without ventilators emptied in Delhi hospitals

According to a report, out of the total ICU beds without ventilators in hospitals of Delhi, 564 are full and 749 beds are empty. At the same time, about 88 percent of the total ICU beds without ventilators in Delhi Government Hospitals are empty. According to the report, out of total 93 private hospitals in the city, 26 hospitals and one Delhi government hospital have ICU beds without ventilators.

Capacity of ICU beds in hospitals increased: Health Minister

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said, “Corona cases are increasing in Delhi and across the country right now, which is being arranged for more ICU beds. We are testing the most in the country. We have already increased the bed capacity in the city hospitals by 25 percent, which will be increased to 40, 50 and 60 percent if needed. Most of the cases in Delhi are coming from middle-class residential areas. ”

Positiveness rate increased in Delhi, recovery rate reduced

The fourth wave of corona is underway in the national capital (Delhi) and cases of corona infection are making daily records.
