Indira Gandhi International Airport Police has arrested a couple in Delhi. The arrested couple had somehow reached Canada after juggling 16 years ago. Since then, Mian Bibi was working in Canada only. Job moved to Canada during the Corona period. So Canada sent both of them back to India. Delhi Police arrested both as soon as they reached India. For the time being, the teams of Delhi Police have gone to Gujarat with both of them. So that the couple can find out the way to reach Canada 16 years from now.
The couple’s arrest has been confirmed by IGI Airport DCP Rajiv Ranjan. According to the information, the name of the arrested couple is Bhagubhai (63) and his wife’s name is Ranjanben (60). After interrogation by the police after the arrest, the couple said that they had gone to Canada in 2006. When the 2006 passport made an entry check, the police could not find it. This raised suspicion. In Canada, husband wife started working in a restaurant. When the police investigated deeply, the matter was revealed that both of them had gone to Canada in the name of someone else about 16 years from now.
When the corona epidemic engulfed the world since March 2020, last year, Canada was not left untouched by its impact. Thousands of people lost their jobs. This couple was also included in the job loss. So as long as there was a job, Canada continued to issue work permits. Canada sent both of them back to India as soon as they became unemployed. On April 3, when the couple reached IGI Airport in Delhi, they were questioned. Then the case was busted.
At present, the Airport Police has also sought help from the Foreign Registration Department (FRRO) office to carry forward the investigation. So that it can be known that the couple had reached Canada from India 16 years ago. On the other hand, according to the DCP Airport, the possibility of some fraud done by an agent in it cannot be ruled out right now. The Delhi Police has sent a team to Gujarat to gather all the information given by the couple and other facts and information related to furthering the investigation. According to Delhi Police, the couple have returned to India from Canada on the certificate.
