Speaking on the vaccination program of Mumbai, Mayor Kishori Pednekar said that at present there are 1 lakh 76 thousand 540 doses of Kovishield vaccine. With this, 8 thousand 840 doses of covaxine remain. There are currently 108 vaccination centers in Mumbai. Vaccine doses are being given to 50 thousand people in Mumbai every day. In the Jumbo Kovid centers of Mumbai, one to two thousand vaccine doses are being given in a day. Therefore, there will be a shortage of vaccine in Mumbai in the next 2 to 3 days. Mayor Kishori Pednekar said that Mumbai needs 8 to 10 lakh doses. Out of these, it is necessary to keep a reserve of 5 to 6 lakh doses. If there is less than 5 lakh reserves, then the result of this is bound to fall on the vaccination program.
