On Tuesday, the central government warned the states that due to which the cases of corona are increasing in the country, the infrastructure can be affected badly. Corona’s positivity rate has crossed 5 percent for the first time since October.
Amidst the havoc of Coron, the government has asked the states to urgently take necessary steps against Corona, urging them to strengthen facilities in hospitals and increase intensive care. NITI Aayog member VK Paul said that the situation has gone from bad to worse in the last few weeks, which is the main reason for concern. Some states have increased tension. In such a situation, no state should be the cause of any district trouble.
Maharashtra’s positivity rate is 23 percent

While the national positivity rate is 5.65 per cent, it is 23 per cent in Maharashtra, 8.82 per cent in Punjab, 8 per cent in Chhattisgarh, 7.82 per cent in Madhya Pradesh, 2.50 per cent in Tamil Nadu, 2.45 per cent in Karnataka.
Central level high level meeting with states
A high level meeting of the Center was held with 12 states and union territories where the highest number of cases of corona are being registered. To prevent the spread of infection, these states and union territories have been advised to tighten measures and rules. These states and union territories include Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Punjab and Bihar.
Urge to strategize at five points
