The situation is better in Mumbai too, only 676 new cases

The number of infections came down, there was laxity in the lockdown
The lockdown has been relaxed in 13 cities including Mumbai in the state. During this time shops of essential services can be opened from 7 am to 2 pm. Aud-Even’s formula will be applied to open shops. But during the weekend, the lockdown will be followed completely. While many cities have been relaxed in the lockdown, the lockdown has been ordered to remain in those areas where the corona infection is not reduced.
Strict lockdown was brought in Satara till June 8, while in Ratnagiri also the lockdown has been extended for 8 more days. Restrictions have been relaxed in Nagpur, Nashik, Nanded, Sangli. It will also be unlocked in Osmanabad, Mumbai, Pune, Thane.
