How to protect young children from the third wave of Corona Virus? Keeping this question at the center, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra interacted with the task force of the state on Sunday. Talking to the team of pediatricians and doctors in this dialogue, which was televised through teleconferencing, the CM said that the first wave of Corona came on the senior citizens. Our experience on the second wave was that it has impacted the youth and middle-aged Inserted. ‘Best preparations for the fight against Corona’

Perhaps Maharashtra is the first state in the country that started preparations to deal with it first. Hospitals may fall short, beds may fall, keeping in mind these things, we set up Jumbo COVID Centers, task force of experts. Maharashtra was the most prepared for the fight against Corona.
‘I am ready to take drastic decisions’
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that when Corona’s havoc reached the height, there was an atmosphere of panic across the country. I have decided to lockdown in the interest of the state and I have repeatedly said that I am ready to drink bitter gulp all the time. The citizens also gave their full support on that decision. That is why today Corona has been able to be controlled in the state. Even though the corona is not completely finished, the doctors who have come under control have full credit for it.
‘Maharashtra has to be made self-reliant with respect to oxygen’
The Chief Minister, while reassuring the citizens about the preparations of the state, advised that there is no need to panic, there is a need to be alert and ready. Because the risk of corona is not averted. We try not to bring a third wave. In the second wave we found a lack of oxygen. Efforts are on to ensure that this crisis of scarcity does not come forward. In the coming days, I have to make Maharashtra self-sufficient in respect of oxygen.
‘Vaccination of 18-44 people stopped due to no supply’
The Chief Minister also expressed his opinion about the ongoing vaccination program in the state. CM Uddhav Thackeray said that the responsibility of vaccination for people between 18 and 44 years of age has been delegated to the states. The Mahavikas Aghadi government is preparing to buy 12 crore doses simultaneously for six crore citizens according to two doses. Unfortunately, the availability of the vaccine has not yet been confirmed. Because of this, vaccination for people between the ages of 18 and 44 had to be postponed for a few days.
He further said that there is still no clarity on which vaccine is to be given for children below 18 years of age. Trial is on in some locations. When any information about this subject comes from the center, we will pursue vaccination at full speed.
