The Government of Andhra Pradesh has extended the period of Corona Curfew imposed against Corona Virus till 31 October. Along with this, it has been limited to only five hours from midnight. Now the curfew will be from 12 pm to 5 am, which was earlier applicable from 11 pm to 6 am. The government has also eased restrictions on public gatherings, including weddings, and now 250 people can gather.
According to the order issued by Principal Secretary (Health) Anil Kumar Singhal, theaters can now operate at full capacity and the rule of leaving one seat has been withdrawn. However, the state government has appealed to the people to exercise caution. The government says that especially in the festive season, people should follow the corona protocol.
Corona situation in the country
After 15,823 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in India in a day, the number of infected in the country increased to 3,40,01,743 on Wednesday. At the same time, the national rate of recovery of patients has increased to 98.06 percent. According to the updated data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Wednesday, the death toll rose to 4,51,189 after 226 more deaths due to infection.
Maharashtra has the highest number of active cases in the country. After Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh have the highest number of active cases.
