So far, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4,03,71,500 and the number of dead has reached 4,91,700. The number of patients under treatment in the country has come down to 22,02,472, which is 5.46 percent of the total cases of infection. The national rate of recovery from COVID-19 is 93.33 percent. At present, the daily infection rate is 19.59 percent while the weekly infection rate is 17.75 percent. The number of people who have recovered from the infection is 3,76,77,328 and the death rate is 1.22 percent.

Corona cases crossed four crores in the country

Under the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign, more than 163.84 crore doses of vaccines have been given in the country so far. The number of infected people in the country had exceeded 20 lakh on 7 August 2020, 30 lakh on 23 August 2020 and 40 lakh on 5 September 2020. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November. On May 4, the total number of infected in India had increased to 20 million, on June 23 to 30 million and on Wednesday to more than 40 million.

So far 4,91,700 patients have died due to corona in the country

A total of 4,91,700 people have died due to infection in the country, including 1,42,316 in Maharashtra, 52,281 in Kerala, 38,705 in Karnataka, 37,359 in Tamil Nadu, 25,710 in Delhi, 23,106 in Uttar Pradesh and 20,445 in West Bengal. has died.
