Oxygen Crisis: Ireland Ambassador Brendan Ward said that Ireland was in close contact with the Indian government and was looking for ways to further help India deal with the epidemic.
Ireland on Tuesday announced the sending of 700 oxygen concentrators and other medical supplies to India as a help to deal with the Corona virus crisis. The Embassy of Ireland said that oxygen concentrators are expected to reach India by Wednesday morning. The embassy said, ‘Ireland is sending 700 oxygen concentrators to India to help health workers in the treatment of patients. The contractors are expected to reach India in the early hours of Wednesday.

Earlier, a shipment from the United Kingdom arrived in India today, that is, on Tuesday morning. In this shipment 100 ventilators and 95 oxygen concentrators have come to India. Air India will bring around 600 oxygen concentrators from its two flights between the US and India. An Air India aircraft has left for New Delhi with 318 oxygen from Delhi.
Britain also sent the first shipment
Those who help India include Thailand, from where another consignment of oxygen containers has reached India. The first batch of life support assistance packages have been sent from the UK to help meet the urgent need of ventilators and oxygen concentrators to deal with the devastating second wave of the Kovid-19 pandemic in India. The upcoming consignment paid by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is being managed during this week and will include 9 airline container loads. It consists of 495 oxygen concentrators, 120 non-invasive ventilators and 20 manual ventilators.
Saudi sent 80 metric tons of oxygen
Apart from this, 800 oxygen concentrators have been called from Hong Kong. Saudi Arabia sent 80 metric tons of oxygen. 23 mobile oxygen plants are being brought from Germany. France, European Union, Canada and Australia have also extended their help. First, 250 oxygen concentrators including 4 cryogenic tankers were brought from a special Indian Air Force helicopter from Singapore. The Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, the Indian Foreign Minister S.K. Talked to Jaishankar and sent 7 empty tankers of oxygen to India.
