The timing of the Sahakar Masala Mela will be from 11 am to 9 pm. Entry will be free. The fair will benefit both the spice producing farmers and the common citizens. Farmers will get good market. Spices are grown in many districts of Rajasthan.
Work on new aspects of cooperatives in the changing times
Shreya Guha, Principal Secretary, Cooperative Department in Rajasthan said that in the changing times, along with the traditional works of cooperatives, there is a need to work on new aspects as well. Cooperation is a people-to-people sector and in such a situation, the concerned officers should focus on various activities keeping in mind the needs of the people. Guha was addressing a departmental meeting at Sahakar Bhawan. He said that Confed should increase its activities in the towns as well. Increase in business activities by coordinating with various departments of the state government. Confed should also focus on good packaging and branding.
