In view of the increasing cases of Corona, on Tuesday, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that night curfew will be imposed in 20 cities of the state between 8 am and 6 am from tomorrow. Also, only 100 people will be allowed to attend weddings. Apart from this, all major programs scheduled to be held till 30 April have been postponed. Also, the government offices will be closed every Saturday till April 30.

The death toll in the state rose to 4,598 with 17 more patients dying of the disease. Now 17,348 patients are being treated in Gujarat. Of the 17 patients who lost their lives, seven each were from Ahmedabad and Surat. Apart from this, two were from Rajkot and one from Vadodara district.

At the same time, after 2,167 people have been discharged from hospitals, the number of people who have been cured so far has increased to 3,02,932. The rate of recovery of patients in the state has come down to 93.24 percent. So far, the first dose of Kovid-19 vaccine has been given to 70.38 lakh people in the state, while 8.47 lakh people have been given the second dose.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said on Tuesday that the state government has ordered the purchase of three lakh injections of Remadecivir for the treatment of serious patients of Kovid-19.
