To upgrade the school education of Punjab, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has sent 36 principals of government schools to Singapore for training. Following in the footsteps of the AAP government in Delhi, the Punjab government led by CM Mann on Saturday sent a group of 36 government school principals abroad for training. The school principals started their journey from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Public Administration, Chandigarh this morning. According to officials, the first batch of principals of 36 government schools will undergo professional training in Singapore. “All of them will attend a Professional Teacher Training Seminar in Singapore. The training seminar will be held from February 6 to February 10 and the batch will return to Punjab on February 11,” he added.
Earlier on Thursday, Chief Minister Mann had announced in this regard. In a tweet, CM Mann said, ‘It is a pleasure to inform that as per the guarantee given at the time of election, today 36 principals of government schools are going to Singapore for training….met them and wished them all the best.. hope to make the journey a success. encouraged for. In the coming times, a batch of principals of other schools will also be sent abroad.”
The AAP government in Delhi led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made some major developments in the education sector in Delhi since coming to power, transforming government schools. In such a situation, adopting Delhi’s education model, the Hon’ble Government of Punjab is also now fully focused on increasing the standard of government schools and education.
