Tree Plantation Promotion Scheme: The Chhattisgarh government launched a special scheme on Sunday. Farmers are going to get huge financial help through this scheme. CM Bhupesh Baghel launched the Chief Minister Tree Plantation Promotion Scheme in the state on Sunday through a virtual program. Through this scheme, farmers will be given ten thousand rupees every year for planting trees in the vacant fields.
At the beginning of the scheme, CM Bhupesh Baghel himself planted a tree and said that now this scheme has also been linked with the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana of the state. Under this scheme, farmers who have taken paddy crop in Kharif year in 2020 and now if they plant trees in their fields instead of paddy crop, they will get 10 thousand rupees per acre from the government for the next three years. Incentive will be given.

Implementing the scheme, the CM said that if the gram panchayats do plantation on their behalf, then after one year of planting trees, they will be given ten thousand rupees per acre, which will also increase the income of the panchayats. Similarly, if the joint forest management does plantation, then it will also get 10 thousand rupees annually.
Farmers will be free to cut trees
It has also been told in the plan that if the farmer plants trees in his fields and wants to cut it in future, then he will be completely free for it. The farmer will not need to take permission from the government department in any way. It depends on the willingness of the farmer whether he wants to plant trees or wants to cultivate there. If any committee plants trees for commercial use, then the committee will have the right to cut and sell it.
