Chief Minister CM Bhupesh Baghel (Bhupesh Baghel) said, in 2-4 days the figures will come down to how much damage they have suffered. Central and State are fighting together. These are the last battles Naxalites are fighting, they will be wiped out very soon.
‘It was like an encounter, not war, our soldiers fought bravely’, said CM Bhupesh Baghel
The statement of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel (Bupesh Baghel) has come in the case of Bijapur Naxal attack. Bhupesh Baghel said that this is a cowardly act of Naxalites. Actually Naxalites are shocked that we are building a camp to stop their major corridor. The Chief Minister said that this is definitely a big incident. About 2000 jawans had gone in 5 different columns. Out of this, 4 contingents returned safely, but the fifth contingent, which had about 450 personnel, including Central and State Force personnel, had to face Naxalites. Where this incident happened, this is the area which is called the stronghold of the Naxalites. Here we have to set up a camp, due to which the Naxalites have gone awry.
In such a situation, they have done a covert attack, but our soldiers bravely faced it. It was not an encounter, it can be called a war. This battle lasted for 4 hours. Ammunition and rocket launchers have been used from both sides. Our soldiers were martyred, but the co-ordination was good. We have brought back all the dead bodies and injured soldiers. I salute those who were martyred. The bravely fought Naxalites have suffered a great loss. We are informed that injured and dead Naxalites were taken away in 4 tractors. They have suffered a great loss, although our soldiers were martyred in a joint operation while fighting with great bravery.
‘Our operation will not stop the camp which is to be set up, it will be through’
Baghel said that these are not lapses of intelligence. This is not an attack on any camp. We went out to encircle them and we went to set up camp. Now the Naxalites are confined in 40 by 40 square kilometers, their fury is that our operation will not stop, the camp which is to be set up, they will remain and the sacrifices of the soldiers who have been martyred will not go in vain.
The government changed but the Naxalite problem remains the same. On this question, Baghel said that I do not talk politically, but earlier there were attacks on the camps, now our camp was not attacked even before when we had 17 soldiers martyred, that too was attacked by ambush. They are also being harmed.
In 2-4 days, the figures will come how much loss they have suffered. Central and State are fighting together. These are the last battles Naxalites are fighting, they will be wiped out very soon. This is not an intelligence failure. Small incident IED blast is a separate issue. We are fighting in his den and fighting, and our soldiers are uplifted. The base camp that is being mentioned repeatedly is actually very important from the perspective of the Corridor security forces. Here the forest between Basaguda and Jagatgunda is an old corridor of Naxalites.
Naxalites got access to National Park
A camp of security forces is about to be built on this corridor, from here the Naxalites get access to the national park, which the security personnel want to block. Because after executing the big event, the Naxalites go into the dense forests of the National Park by this route. This encounter took place about 12 km south of Tarren, in the same path.
