Only 15 thousand devotees will be able to visit Badrinath Dham in a day

Sanjay Shastri, president of Chardham Rotation Company, told that 1200 passengers will go on the pilgrimage to Chardham. Some buses will leave from Rishikesh and some buses will leave from Haridwar.
On May 5, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will duly inaugurate the Chardham Yatra. Let us inform that Chardham Yatra will start with the opening of the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham on the day of Akshaya Tritiya on May 3. While the doors of Kedarnath will open on 6th May and Badrinath on 8th May.
Government fixed the number of passengers every day
So far about 2.5 lakh pilgrims have registered for Chardham Yatra. The booking of rooms in hotels is full for the coming two months on Chardham and Yatra route. Also, advance booking of tickets for Kedarnath Heli service has been done till May 20. In view of the rush of devotees, the tourism department through Garhwal Mandal Development Corporation has made additional arrangements for accommodation of 1000 people by putting up tents in Kedarnath. To control the crowd in Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham, the government has fixed the number of passengers daily.
There is also a possibility of bad weather on the first day of the journey
