A shocking video from Chandigarh has gone viral. A young man, trying to shoot a reel at Sukhna Lake, fell nearly 20 feet into the water and hit his head on the rocks. The dangerous stunt left him unconscious, but tourists jumped in and pulled him out just in time.
The viral clip captured the chaos, with the song “Yeh Kya Hua, kaise hua” playing in the background. DSP Udaypal called it a “life-threatening” act and promised strict action against those risking their lives for social media fame.

In the video, the youth is seen wearing a black shirt and white pants as he tries to jump onto the lake’s boundary wall. But in seconds, he slips and crashes down onto the rocks. Shockingly, his friends keep filming instead of helping. Thankfully, some tourists rushed to save him and managed to pull him out of the lake while he lay unconscious.

DSP Udaypal warned people against such stunts. He said strict action will be taken against those risking their own lives and the safety of others for social media videos. The incident has sparked a debate on how far people will go for online fame, raising safety concerns in public places.

Similar Reel Accidents Spark Alarm
Sadly, this is not the first time such a thing has happened. In Chennai, 18-year-old Pradeep died recently while shooting a reel at Ennore sea. A strong wave hit him, and he fell on submerged rocks. He could not survive the injuries.
As per reports, he was struck by a powerful wave and hit his head on submerged rocks while attempting to record a video in the sea. His tragic death and other similar accidents have raised concerns over safety rules and public awareness.
