The propagation of fake news is also happening rapidly among the second wave of Corona virus. A CA has been arrested in Hyderabad for spreading such fake news. It is alleged that this 48-year-old CA was spreading a fake message in the name of Government Order. It was written that there is a partial lockdown in Telangana from 1 April. Later it became clear that this message was fake.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said that the order issued last year was being made viral by tampering with the date of April 1, 2021. A person named Sanjeev Kumar has been arrested in this case. The accused is a chartered accountant in a company in Hyderabad.
First a fake lockdown message was sent to WhatsApp group
Hailing from Andhra Pradesh, Kumar had been living in Hyderabad since 1993. Police said that Kumar first sent the fake letter to a WhatsApp group. There were 40 people in it. Then slowly that fake letter went viral. After this, when the letter was discussed, the administration had to clarify that no lockdown was being imposed.
More than 3.13 lakh corona patients in Telangana
With the arrival of 1,097 new cases of Kovid-19 in Telangana, the number of infected people has risen to more than 3.13 lakhs, while the death toll has increased to 1,723 with the death of six more people due to infection. The state government told about this on Monday.
According to the information given by the state government in the health bulletin till 8 pm on April 4, the maximum number of 302 cases have been reported in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). After this, 138 cases have been reported in Medchal Malkajgiri and 116 in Rangareddy. The total number of cases is 3,13,237, while so far, 3,02,768 patients have been cured of infection due to the recovery of 268 patients.
Currently, 8,746 Kovid-19 patients are being treated in the state and 43,070 samples have been tested on Sunday. According to the bulletin, more than 2.80 lakh samples have been tested per 10 lakh population. The bulletin states that the death rate in the state is 0.55 percent while at the national level it is 1.3 percent.
